Re: Ex just called..... Lumpy: I'd give it a shot. First though I'd pin him down on just how serious he is. No bailing out at the drop of a hat this time. Make him understand that YOU understand the seriousness of what you did and you want to earn back his trust. Most relationships of this length don't end with one break-up. (IMHO) Takes at least two or three.

I tell myself the worst thing that can happen is I end up back at square one. We'll I'm at square one. Yesterday I saw a guy in the same uniform Em wears to work and I started to cry... I wouldn't say I've made much progress. I really appreciate your honesty and I will keep you posted.
