Great sex to me means close, sweaty, lots of kissing, passionate, undistracted, caught up in the exctasy sex. When two people are so into each other at that moment that they just want more and can't get enough. I think it takes love to have true great sex because love is the spark that sets the fire.

I agree with Blazin, but I have to add that KNOWING you are the only two having sex with each other also adds a lot to it. When my STBX and I tried reconcilliation this point was missing and I really didn't care to have sex with him anymore....which just led to him cheating on me again.
