I understand where he's coming from now ... It still kindda hurts that he just ignores my feelings, but nothing I can do about it I guess.
Re: The silence is killing me fiona: I know when my ex started coming around (after the 1st break up, not going down that road again anytime soon) it was similar.. he kept apologizing and I really didn't have too much to say. I was confused and while I appreciate a man being able to say "I'm sorry", unless I see true, tangible change those words are just buying you time until you f-up again. He knows you want to be with him. I don't think telling him over and over is necessary. You may need to find out exactly what he expects from you in order for him to trust you fully again.

Re: The silence is killing me alfaromeo: I would have to agree, he just may be scared, I wouldn't be so ready to just jump back into a relationship with someone who hurt me really bad (I've just come to that decision myself).
Just give him time, if he really loves you and you guys are supposed to be together you'll be together in time.

BINGO - That's where my money's at.
Just remember......you don't have to keep telling him how you feel...he already knows. Take it one day at a time and let things sort themselves out in their own time. It's hard to wait cause you wanna know NOW but after so much muddy water has passed or still is under the proverbial bridge, you really can't rush things. Enjoy the time you spend together and he'll be able to SEE where your heart is at and how serious you are.
