He called when he got back. You thought that he was with his uncle and the OW. Come to find out he was really only with the uncle and the OW was on a cruise. However, he did tell you that they rode to the airport together and that the OW stayed at his Mom's house the night before she left? Is this all correct?
And if it is, I am confused why you are not still mad at him. He took her to the airport, and let her stay with him at his mom's house? Those things are not okay if they were involved before, and if he didn't let you know.

that was one of the biggest problems with my ex and I. his family hated me.
Further, it sounds like if you two are going to make it together you need to work on your communication skills etc, the cursing and yelling etc are not healthy.
