Pre-Trial Heating ChrisJane: Any advice or answers?
My STBX didn't show up for the pre-trial hearing today. My attorney said not to worry. We'll attempt to contact him in the next two days to see if he is willing to agree on things or take a chance from not appearing today and lose everything he has complained about.
Has anyone had their stbx not show up and what was the outcome?
I can't imagine the judge will care what my STBX says at this point because he has not gotten an attorney, he has not appeared for any hearings, filed any paperwork regarding his disapproval of the temporary orders. I would think the judge would look at him and say "if this was a concern you'd taken care of this already, avoiding it won't fix it"
Any advice?
