I started dating a guy right after I broke up and it had been a long time for both of us (each had just gotten over a separation). It moved too quickly, and although we're still friends, it didn't last more than a week.
I've also had the drunken sex (protected of course) when I was on vacation recently and will never see the guy again (or really even care to). The sex wasn't that great, I don't regret it, but if the person cares anything about you there's more effort into making the experience better.
My husband was the first person I was with. Sicne the separation 9 months ago, I've had 4 guys. One was a one/two night stand, the other was a short-term relationship. I think I've gotten it out of my system and I'm going to be more careful about who I lend my body to. That doesn't rule out one-night stands, but I'm not going out in search of them becasue it only distracts me from my search for a real relationship.
