My stbx signed the agreement papers today. He didn't fight for anything. I get to keep my retirement! He's agreed to pay the support ordered! He wants nothing else.
He admitted he made all the attempts to make me double think the divorce. He knows the marriage is over and he was to blame, yet he wasn't ready to let go. He thought trying to control the issue would make me change my mind.
He is leaving town Sunday to go back to work and wanted this resolved because he will not come back in town for the final hearing.
Even though the final hearing isn't for another 33 days, my attorney said its a done deal and to get on with my life now!
There can be a happy ending...took 6 months but its worth it.

One door closes while another opens. What does one say? Congratulations? not too sure as I'm certain you had your share of suffering, however, I do want to wish you nothing but the best in this new begining!

I wish like hell mine would have just left and moved on. try going on 2 years fo this garbage of hers and we had no kids and only married 5 months :(
Good to hear some good news though, gives me hope that it will one day be all over ;D
