My X also tried to cut off the utilities the day he moved out but I beat him to it by changing everything into my name...he did manage to turn off the phone, but I have a cell, so no biggy.
Have you thought of selling the house ? It sounds like you may be financially strapped by keeping it & that will only add to your problems.
You really are temporarily insane...I know I was ! You do & say things you would never normally do. But it is ALL normal & it will pass w/ time. I am about halfway back to my old self (2 months post divorce). It's a slow process & you are going thru the worst. So feel free to blow off steam whenever...that's what OJAR vent is for :)
