Re: Daycare Discarded: Actually you will find it to be good for your younger one. It will give your 3 year old a headstart on schooling and learning new rules for a classroom type setting. I put my youngest in a daycare that also included a preschool type program for them and he absolutely loved it. He'd cry when he wasn't going on Saturday and Sunday because he wanted to go to School.

He started preschool this year and extatic to be going to preschool. He gets to ride the bus and everything just like his grown up brother and sister.

Having that online is great - wish they would have had an access like that where my youngest went. You can watch him some throughout the day and let him know you were watching and let him know his coloring or whatever he was doing when you saw him looked great. It will instill a greater bond between you and he will think it's really neat you can watch what he is doing sometimes and talk about it later.

Your youngest will be scared for the first day or two and that is expected, it's all new. Make sure you tell him how big he is, going to daycare and learning new stuff just like his older sibling goes to school.

Talk to him alot the first few days and talk to the people at the facility about how well your child is adjusting. Make sure your child acts happy about going.

Alot on how well he adjusts is on your actions and reactions. If you praise him on how grown up he is being etc.. your child should do just fine.
