Question for the ladies..... faegonsgold: I'm not quite sure where to post this, so here it goes:
Has anyone gotten prego while on BC, more specifically Ortho-lo? If so, how did you know for sure other than taking a test? I only ask because I've heard that women on BC may not know if they are prego because the BC keeps you regulated. So I'm basically wanting to know about symptons outside of the most obvious. I've known two who've gotten prego on this pill, so I'm a bit concerned.... :-\
Re: Question for the ladies..... Trillian: I got Pregnant while on bc....with my 2nd daughter. I can't remember what pill it was that I took. I didn't know for 18 and a half weeks that I was even prego. And then one day I was really sick and someone said something about being prego and I took a test and sure enough. However, I did have a feeling that I was....just a strange feeling...

I have never gotten pregnant while on the pill. However, a girl I worked with did, and she says she never missed a pill. (Don't know what pill she was on, though.)
She found out she was carrying her daughter when she had some unexpected "light" bleeding in between her periods...
I am sure you know (but a friendly reminder for you anyhow :D), taking the pill EVERY DAY (they even recommend around the same time of day) decreases your chances while getting pregnant while on oral contraceptives.
Also, taking an antibiotic decreases the BC pill's effectiveness. Use back up protection while taking the antibiotic, and then for at least 3 days after you are done the antibiotic. My sister didn't know this...that's how I became an aunt. :P

I'm going to take a test, just to be sure. But at the same time, I'm not going to get my hopes up. I hate the disappointment. :-\
Re: Question for the ladies..... PiscesGoddess: Let us know faegon.. I have a bouncing baby birth control boy crawling on the floor right now ;D I was on the low dose BC because I smoked.. and lo and behold I got pregnant.. then again with my 7 year old daughter I got pregant on the shot :P
Im just a tad fertile!
