Re: Writing alonewith2: I like to write short-stories....don't have the patience for anything longer. My favorite was the short story I wrote for 11th grade English class titled "Bruth the Gay Parking Meter". Little did I know that my English teacher was gay....but he loved it and read it to all his other classes and some of the other teachers.
I've also written one titled "Sensie the Street Light" and some others along the same theme. I always wanted to put them into a book.....a sort of collection of short stories, but I'm not even sure where some of them went.
Re: Writing charmed: I love writing and have wrote many, many poems. I have a few posted on Ojar. I've also wrote a few short stories.
I belong to an online writing site where I have over 250 poems posted. It's an interactive community where you submit poetry and short stories and can receive critiques. This is where I developed my writing. When I first joined my poems were cheesy. I can say with sincerity LOL that I've improved.
I would like to write novels and have attempted a few starts, but it seems life got in the way LOL

Re: Writing slh236: I only write about things I feel some emotion towards. I have written several "letters" that turned out much more like poems without any rhyming. My ex told me the other day that I am working in the wrong field.
I also actually finished a song the other day. Unfortunately, I'm hopeless with music.
