Re: Ojar Book Club justmenow: If you want some complete brain "junk-food" read "The Devil Wears Prada". It has been very entertaining and light. It's not a self-help book, but rather a good book to read if you want to escape for a while.
Re: Ojar Book Club PickingUpThePieces: Sounds good to me Bug!

The same author who wrote "Tuesdays with Morrie" also wrote another book I enjoyed, "The Five People  You Meet in Heaven".

Re: Ojar Book Club alonewith2: I'm up for the reading club!!  I haven't read anything really good since Watership Down!!  I've spent most of my time since then reading true crime, mysteries, etc.....would love to find something insightful again!

Jodi Piccoult has some good book club books to discuss.

Nickel and Dimed is about a journalist who held minimum wage jobs for a year to prove it is about impossible in our country to live on min wage. Very good read.

I have wanted to read Kite Runner...

Someone pick a book!
