Re: haven't seen the news yet SunnyFlower: Reminds me of something that happened here a few weeks ago at the hospital where I work.
Two cops picked up a drunk driver, brought him into the ER for blood/urine samples, etc. They didn't hand cuff the guy becasue he was calm and cooperative with the police, and according to thier guide lines there was no reason to cuff him.
Well, the guy grabs one of the officer's gun and shoots twice at the one cop, killing him and shot one of the ER techs in the shoulder!!
It was a horrible scene (so I hear...)
I don't understand people sometimes. :(

Re: haven't seen the news yet alonewith2: That is horrible!! We had someone like that in our ER, but we transported him to our "mother" hospital....and that's where he went a little nutso! I have to say that I'm happy that it happened there then where I work!
