I need a hug! twetifb: I feel nostalgic today….I’m guessing this is the result of my long commute this morning. I’m not sure why but all of a sudden I feel like I need to curl up in someone’s arms and just be held. I’ve always had someone to curl up with or to give me a hug at the end of the day and this is the only thing that I still have not gotten use to while living alone. My stbx and I did not have a good relationship in many aspects but when I needed a hug all I had to do was ask and if he was comatose (drunk, depressed)…I’d just get as close as I could and wrap his arms around me…if he was mad or not talking with me, I would hug the dog and that seemed to do the trick. Before my husband I received these daily embraces from my mom, dad, brother, or friend depending on who was around. I always had a habit of sitting next to them, sticking out my lower lip, and giving them my sad eyes until they got the hint and wrapped their arms around me. Hmmm…maybe I’ll stop by my brother’s on my way home and see if he gets the hint...the hug would probably do him good too!

I know what you are talking about. Definately stop by your brothers! You never know - he might need one just as much as you!
