I went all those years thinking that plant leaves were supposed to all be crispy and brown! Go figya.. I even kill those little greenhouse herb gardens that're supposed to be kill proof *sigh*

Ah well... ;D Thank God for grocery stores!

Re:Divorced gardening!! Spectrum: Does anybody know if you can transplant full-grown raspberry bushes?

I planted them two seasons ago from the little 15" stalks with almost no roots, and now they are all about 3.5' high and bushy (well, not literally now, because it is 10 degrees outside, but they were at the end of last summer).

Last summer I took the berries that rotted and planted them all around the existing bushes, trying to gradually push back some obnoxious rubarb that has been growing since we bought the house.

It just occurred to me this morning that this coming summer I would have had my first really great crop. So, if I buy a new house, can I just dig them up and take them with me?

Spectrum.
