Re: Why can't it be easy? BONILLAK: I can so relate. I haven't been seperated that long but have known for more than a year that my marriage was over. This guy I'm kinda seeing is also seperated, also has 3 kids, etc. I know we both like each other, love talking to each other and everything but we also both admit we are screwed up and confused. We agreed to date each other here and there but be really good friends and see if it eventually leads to anything or not. I'm completely ok with this. I do like him a real lot and not as a rebound type thing, I truely like him as a person and he grows on me more and more. At this point in my life if he wants to take me out for dinner, movies, etc and crap even if he wants to be my "booty call" I'm game with that too. I don't think life will ever be easy,,,just take things slow and be open and honest with your feelings. good luck!
Re: Why can't it be easy? lonelywithouthim: good to know i'm not the only one! I like your advice, and it seems like the best way to deal with the situation.
Re: Why can't it be easy? bjs2005: LDRs are just an exercize in futility IMHO. I need physical companionship. Talking online is great but when you want to take it to the next level you can't unless someone travels and then, it's just for a short time unless someone relocates. Most people aren't going to relocate like that. There are some, for whatever reason, do, but that's the exception rather than the norm.
Find someone local, that's always my advice.
Re: Why can't it be easy? in_search_of: Because nothing easy is worth the hassle and nothing worth the hassle is easy!
