Re:Baseball JDorn: I just hope those young arms of the A's can overcome yet another big loss of position player talent. They have the last few years to Mr. Beane's eye for young talent, so i don't expect this year to be much different. Or at least I hope it won't.
Yeah at first I was a bullpen catcher, and extra outfielder until I tore up my knee as a freshman. After that I spent alot of time as a first baseman and a pinch hitter, but it was still a great experience. And baseball was my first true love in life.
I still try to play softball every time I get a chance, though I haven't found a team for this spring yet, which has me worried.

it was so good to sit and watch baseball when i was out at the bar last night, every year about this time the feeling of spring time, and personal renewal comes over me when the season starts.
Ever since i was a little kid i looked forward to the first week of April for opening day :)
