Re:Here's a question for you.... SunnyFlower: Here's a good one!
I want a little sugar
In my bowl
I want a little sweetness
Down in my soul
I could stand some lovin'
Oh so bad
Feel so lonely and i feel so sad
I want a little steam
On my clothes
Maybe i could fix things up
So they'll go
Whatsa matter daddy
Come on, save my soul
Drop a little sugar in my bowl
I ain't foolin'
Drop a little sugar in my bowl
Well i want a little sugar
In my bowl
Well i want a little sweetness
Down in my soul
You been acting strangely
I've been told
Move me daddy
I want some sugar in my bowl
I want a little steam
On my clothes
Maybe i can fix things up so they'll go
Whatsa matter daddy
Come on save my soul
Drop a little sugar in my bowl
I ain't foolin'
Drop some sugar- yeah- in my bowl.
Re:Here's a question for you.... Safetykc: There's lots of reasons we do Sunny.
Music is an emotional conduit, it can reflect our moods good and bad, change them, and even express them sometimes.
That doesn't mean we only listen to sad songs when we are sad or happy when we are feeling good. But, it can be the feelings we crave.
A song can seem to express something and make us feel that emotion stronger and we can feel it and let our emotions out.
Sometimes we need to cry or laugh or sing.
But it's a powerful thing. I do the same thing, but sometimes have to avoid the really soulful ones because I know it will change my mood, or make me sadder than I want to feel.
Music is awesome though. If you find yourself listening to too many sad songs in a row, through in a little "Hey Ya" or "Moses" ;) and you will find yourself smiling.

Re:Here's a question for you.... andyman8007: i think that it allows you to relate....
Re:Here's a question for you.... andyman8007: here is one.. why do people think their lives( RELATIONSHIPS) should resemble those in a movie????
Re:Here's a question for you.... Safetykc: That's an inderesting question.
I have seen that too andy and it drives me nuts...
But even logical thinking people who KNOW it is just a movie or fantasy seem to fall into that trap.
Hollywood knows/has known that for a long time. They are pretty good at how to reflect people's fantasy's to sell more tickets.
But that's me...I may be jaded, but I am right there with my big tub of popcorn like everyone else! LMAO at me...
;D
