I love:
1) Not having to wash his dirty underwear anymore! ;D
2) Not having to pick up his dirty dishes and put them in the dishwasher for him.
3) Being able to watch what I want on TV, although I do have to fight the kid over the Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon constantly!
4) I can use the computer whenever I want.
5) No more money being wasted on useless junk from Ebay!
6) Being able to spend time with MY family for a change. Sundays are spent doing what I want, wherever I want without having to be at his family's house all day. My son has finally realized he has other grandparents! :o
And the list goes on and on....................
Re: What do you like about not being married aisac: The lack of guilt over so many things. (I'm working on this in therapy)
1. I can spend money on whatever I want and I don't have to check in with anyone (we did our money checking account on the computer so every penny was accounted for)
2. I can come home from work, turn the music up and take a hot bath and read my books.
3. I love doing things by myself - I even eat at restaurants alone and I find it liberating not caring what others think.
4.In general, just doing my own thing and not having to worry about some one else. I only have to worry about my feelings and what I want, which I discovered that I had really lost touch with

for me too, not having to walk on egg shells anymore would be my appreciation for singledom again. But, also, words such as 'diets', 'fat', 'carbos', 'gym', 'who is skinny and who is not', etc... are not longer in my life. I am also so glad not having to talk to or see her parents anymore, and certainly not hear about their never ending troubles. I love my new freedom and I can indeed flirt, meet whoever i want, and invite home whoever i wish without having to go thru the approval process.

You know IP this one is quite easy for me. I love I dont have a temper anymore, nothing phases me at all. It is like I went thru a right of passage and I have come out on the other side so much more calm about everything in general. I could have my bike stolen next week and I would be upset but not crzy at all.
After all it always could be worse my wife could be leaving me, oh yah that right she already did :)
In a nutshell though the most important thing I have found through all this, is me. I am me again from years back and I would not trade anything in or have any re-dos as I dontthink I would have found me again had my ex-wife had not left me. ;D
