Does anyone know?? somechick: Okay........question is.......got the appraisal done on the house. Husband son of a so and so is not happy with it. Its was done legally, meaning by a certified appraiser dude. But since the idiot is not happy with the price that was given, he figures it would fetch more if we sold it. I dont want to, I told him I would buy him out, the house is what I want out of this, everything else he can take. My question is......can he force the sale of the house? He has no job, is up on criminal charges which are pending, trial is in Sept....the house is located close to where I work, therefore saving me $600.00 in parking fees. Would a judge have to decide how the house would be handled? Or does the fact that I have the resources to buy him mean we can proceed based on the appraised value.
If anyone has any dealing with, or ideas regarding what you think may have to happend, I'd appreciate it. I'm located in Ontario Canada.

Have a call into my lawyer.........who is in court all day, hopefully will get some clarification. I'ts been driving me nuts all weekend.
