Re: First visitation! BONILLAK: We all made it through nicely. He came his 30 mins late but did apologize. He then took them to lunch, to Walgreens to buy a pumpkin carving kit, then he took them pimpkin picking and they also got to see farm animals. They then came back home here and carved their pumpkins and ate all my food and made a huge mess(which I had to clean when I got home.LOL). I walked in and stbx was sitting on the sofa with our almost 3yr old sleeping soundly on him and our 8yr old sitting by his side with her arm around him while my teenager was laying on the floor playing video games. It was almost like walking in after a day out when all was "normal"...a little sadness came over me for once was :( Stbx then put our 3yr old in his bed and took a few pairs of his jeans, kissed the 3yr old, hugged and kissed our 8yr old and said he loved her....he walked slowly by me and jokinly I hugged him and said "I love you too"...he didn't know how to respond but he kinda hugged me back and patted my back....said bye to our 16yr old. Stopped at the front door and said he will be here after work on Monday for trick or treating and bday cake for our youngest. He looked kinda sad as he walked away as so was I...not for us as I know this is for the best but for what we once had.
My kids said he looked all around the house, reading papers that are around and then our oldest caught him in my dresser drawers and said Mom doesn't want you in there,,,so he closed the drawers and left the bedroom. He did ask me about the extra car and I told him I would love to give it to him but unless I get a job offer soon I'm going to have to sell it in order to provide Xmas and bday party for our almost 9yr old. he said he will see what he can do(whatever that means). No one cried today which was great. When the 3yr old woke from his late nap he was a bit upset Dad was not here but quickly got over it. Stbx said the little guy looked for me all day too, I guess he wants us both.LOL All and all it went much better than I expected it to go. Monday will be the real test as I have to be here to and we will all spend a few hours together!! Oh, also the dog now hates him...We have a huge 102lb German Shepherd that we had since he was 6wks old and he is now 3...stbx was never his favorite but now the dog hates him and had to be crated while he was here....I guess the dogs senses my feelings.LOL
Thanks for all the support today. It was nice to get a 5-6 hr break from the kids. I haven't been without at least one of them for 7wks so I enjoyed having a little me time. I bought a few new sweaters, a pair of sneakers and 2 new pairs of jeans...stbx only thinks I bought sneakers(as its his money still as I haven't gotten a job yet. So like old times I hid the rest of the bags in the car until he left.LOL). I can sure get use to having free Saturdays so I hope he sticks to this for all of our sakes.
