Hello there Newbies. Suddenly Single: So far in the past 1/2 hour it seems whenever I look at the "newest" member - there is a new name. So far I have noticed 3 new members today.
I am very happy that you have found OJAR. I found great advice, support and friendship here and I wish you find the peace you are looking for no matter what stage of your breakup you are in.
My advice to you now is to post and post and post again!!! Posting lets you get those feelings out and opens you up for support and some advice.

Also remember to read as many posts as you can because I remember when I was new here and I felt a lot of comfort just knowing that I wasn't "going crazy" and that my feelings were common for the situation.
One great thing about this site is that as you go through all the different emotions, there is a large variety of boards. Sometimes I just feel like pushing the hard thinking and difficult feelings to the side and being silly and hanging out in the lower boards. Other times, I need the support and information that is in the top section. So, I encourage you to explore the site and feel free to join in anywhere you are comfortable or anywhere that fits your ever-changing mood.

Frazzled Nomad: thankyou all. i am so glad i found this place. it helps an amazing amount to read others' stories, i had never really understood how painful a breakup is until being in the midst of one. and i felt so alone because all my friends the same age are either happily coupled (and getting married!) or single. but now that i am to see that there are others going through the same emotioal rollercoaster is so reassuring. still supremely awful, but reassuring. best wishes to all.
