You did just the right thing Random. Your ex was testing your resolve and you passed with flying colors!
Really proud of you on that for several reasons:
1. not wanting to get your son in the middle
2. Standing up for your principals
Difficult to do all this the 'right ' way. I am doing 'no contact" and last night stbxw emailed me to let me know her 30 yr old daughter was ill. Rather than get back to the email, I called the daughter directly.
Shows I care but keeps wifey in the dark. She will find out I called next time she talks to daughter.
I miss her and I was up at 4 but turned on art bell instead of the computer.. should have turned on the computer and talked to you guys instead.

do you have anyone you could use as a go between, so they can monitor the calls? that way he would only contact you for kid stuff....
