Re: Those who have been cheated on... malex1984: oh i will add that she never left her mobile phone (cell phone for you americans, thats right i'm an aussie) anywhere.

She started taking it into the bathroom when she had a shower to make sure it was with her, deleted every message from the phone however for years before would always have over 100 that she had not deleted.

Re: Those who have been cheated on... PickingUpThePieces: Well let's see...started with dressing up to go see an old "friend" from high school, staying at "friends" places late and told me he was in an area with no cell signal so he couldn't call.  Lent this "friend" a car to use for a month and paid her electric bill.  Looked through his things, found a co-worker'r number on a slip of paper in his wallet and a personal ad on the computer.  I also saw receipts from work lunches for high amounts and got the excuse someone mentioned before - he and his co-workers take turns treating each other.  As is typical of cheaters, when I confronted him he denied it.  The day he left he told me he was messaging a male friend and they were all going out.  I later checked his email and found out he started engaging in a relationship with an ex-girlfriend from high school and they were out on a date.  He left and moved in with her.  When I confronted him with specific lines in the emails, he still denied it, told me I didn't know what I was talking about, I had no idea what happened there, and he had to go live with her because he had no place else to go.  ::)
Re: Those who have been cheated on... RSGinATX: Started spending late nights online..
Had a 'secret' email address...
Began to clear her chat logs..
Cleared her internet history as well..
Started stopping for drinks after work with her girlfriends more and more.. And staying later and later..
Found extra blouses in her car..
Would go to another room whenever she got a call..
Stopped updating her online journal..

Sick part is, I realized later that she'd been 'coached' in how to cover her tracks by her adulteress best friend.  She was never very computer savvy and things she deleted to cover her tracks weren't simple things(fortunately, I know my way around a PC pretty well).

When I confronted her, she tried to lie about it still until I told her I knew she went to the hospital a few days after I walked out to get checked for STDs/pregnancy because of sharp pains when we hadn't had sex in a month.

Re: Those who have been cheated on... seyfert: I actually observed my husband and a long time family friend engaged in the "act."  Then it all made sense.

The signs:
a basic feeling that I was in the house to cook, clean and raise the kids
very little sex
he started sleeping on the sofa
loads of interracial internet porn. She was asian, he is white.
doing things out of character
