Put the Hammer Down ? no more tears: Me and my X have been seperated for about a month now. We was together many years and what happened last nite when i broke no contact ( i know i know ) is about to kill me. When we broke up which i did not want to do i might add...we said we would remain friends. I love this woman and just couldnt think of not at least being friends...taking time apart...then seeing what happens. Never giving up hope i guess. I just wanted to call her and see how she and her child ( which i adore ) was doing.
So i call and a male answers....i kept my cool and simply asked to speak with her and the guy starts acting stupid and then says hold on ill try to find her....in the background i hear her laughing with other ppl wondering how long i would wait before i hang up. I waited for about a minute and hung up. All i have to ask is.....i got it rubbed in my face that she is happy and with somebody else. ( at least for that nite anyway :) okay i smiled )....but what do you all make of a person who would do this to somebody they know is still down and out and just wanting to say hi ?
I still love this woman but i know the final nail has been hammered. But how in the world can somebody love somebody so deep then treat them so shallow. I didnt cheat...wasnt abusive....never gave her a reason to hate me. I wouldnt stomp on a man down even if i did hate him....so why did i get stomped on .
And why do i have a hammer handy just waiting to pull that last nail back out ??

Take that hammer and throw it through her window. Don't get caught, though.

She does not. She is a piece of crap and doesn't deserve a second chance.

There we go, much more difficult to get the nails back out with this.
Unfortunately the way our stbx's view us and our relationships are night and day from how we view them. For the most part, our stbx's were good people, or we wouldn't have gotten involved with them. I think for us this means that they need to turn us into the bad guy before they can come to terms with leaving. This results in the cold, shallow, and downright mean ways they interact with us.
I know it's a hard thing to do, but I'm a firm believer in no contact!

WTH Her letting another man answer her phone was a clear indication she is done with me right ?
