It was just guilt and trying to get back what she had lost. Thing with loosing something is that you don't always get it back, and alot of the time you don't get it back in the same shape you lost it.
Do you have a chance of getting her back? Who knows, but right now I wouldn't hold my breath. She has to make the decision. She has to want you back. She has to want you back as you are, who you are, not who you think she wants you to be. You have to be true to yourself and be yourself. Marriage is taking the good with the bad and hopefully you like more of the good and bad isn't so bad you can't live with it. It is a two way street, not a one way road.
