Because parents have to get to work. It serves as a daycare too. Around here it's early because of the factories. Big cities usually start slightly later because of office people's schedule.
Get them ready. Don't forget their library books and homework! I hope you laid it all out last night and didn't wait for the last minute.

Re: starting new contact monday version...... manda: I did it. All day. I didn't listen to the voicemails. And I didn't answer when he called after work--I was still at school working.
But it is horrible. The house is so quiet.
And now I have a little problem: my sister (who doesn't know anything, of course) wants me to drive to see her this weekend to babysit her babies for Saturday and she'd pay me (she's desparate and I could use the money right now, let me tell ya). But I'm afraid being away from home I may feel even more depressed and lonely. I love the babies, though. I guess I could use the time to tell my mother, in person (she lives close to sis)... or not.
