Re: Do women cheat more than men? Graham1675: Its not about men or women cheating. Most if not all of us here have been cheated on by other people. Its the core values that seem to be lacking in todays society that really is the problem.
Why bother with stats when in the end they really dont matter now do they?

Men might just be more likely to use an Internet support group which would skew the numbers to look like women cheat more.

Nah, Ojar has more women if you look at the stats. 1:1.5 (men to women)
I think we have more trouble coming to grips with women cheating maybe... so maybe it is discussed more--the shock is greater??? Just further guessing here.
Re: Do women cheat more than men? hurting: I just think that selfish, self-serving, egotisitical, small minded pieces of crap cheat on their spouses..
Not necessarily men or women more.
Re: Do women cheat more than men? Beren: I think Minneapolis is on the right track, at least. Ojar is not a random sampling. Almost everyone here found this place through a web search. I don't think a sample could get much more self-selected than that. Ojar may be useful to look at in order to form hypotheses about various aspects of divorce, but it's not a good place from which to draw statistics.

Re: Do women cheat more than men? clambakesX: A few other factors to consider ...
- a man who's been cheated on is going to be more likely to look for support than a man who's done the cheating, esp. if he's in a new relationship.
- women are more likely to leave unhappy relationships without being cheated on (or cheating).
