Okay, other than the wet t-shirt contest, I am thinking very hard about all you said.  Yes, he does want more time.  But seeing as he's had since August, when is enough enough?  Or is that my decision (hee hee--wanting Lumpy to make decisions for me)?

I have told him that he has until the holidays.  After that, I WILL be going on with my life and dating and that he would be SORRY--all this said in anger, of course, a while back  (I wish I wouldn't say all that--so foolish and young sounding, but oh well).   So is that fair warning?

I'm telling you the wet t-shirt contest may just be the key ingredient here. When have I ever given you bad advice? Seriously though, what exactly is your hubby doing in order to make up his mind? Is he in counseling? Are the two of you talking about your problems? If he's not making any efforts that you can see I'd say you've given him enough time. He can't expect you to wait around forever.

um, no.
umm, no

um, you're right!

(you love hearing that? don't you.  We're going to get you a t-shirt that says: Women On OJAR Think I'm Right.  You can get it wet if you want.  A wet t-shirt.)  (Another no to the wet t-shirt contest.)

Re: What do you guys think about this...need advice hardened_heart1970: i think i will have to go with lumpy on this.............

but maybe not publically. why not try it risky business style?

lol

I think I heard that phrase coming out of my exes mouth twice during eight years of marriage. I guess I'm just making up for lost time. I don't even necessarily think I'm right. I just don't think that you should bow down to his needs to the detriment of your own. My ex strung me along for months while she was engaging in other relationships. I was in denial and I allowed her to do it. I just don't want to see anyone else treated in that manner. That having been said, I don't know your husband. I can't say for sure that he's doing what my ex did. However, it does sound like he's not taking the situation too seriously. Lastly, you're really missing the boat on the whole wet t-shirt deal.
