Thanks, I could not live with myself if I had just walked away with this woman being as sick as she is. This might not lead to anything but I have to try for my own sanity.

I know exactly what you mean. I have been working at this for years, and we still live together, but I don't feel married any more, although I wish I could be! I tried, it didn't lead anywhere, but I feel better for trying. I would never want to say that I wish I had tried harder. I don't want to have regrets like that. Not with something as important as this.
