That's a perspective I need to consider. I appreciate you bringing it up  ;D But, would sending a card mean her betraying loyalty to him? I do not expect reciprocation, a call or anything really.

It's a tough call since it seems to mean so much to *you*.  If you feel that strongly, then send it.  But if it were me (oh, and it is, my ex cheated too), I really wouldn't/don't care what she tells her family or lies about why I'm not around for Christmas.  Even if she told them the truth, I'm sure they would twist it and let her know it was my fault somehow.  I just can't be bothered worrying about if some people in the world (incorrectly) think I'm a jerk.

Ask youself if you are the kind of person that needs to be liked by everyone.  If you are, then maybe this is your chance to just stop worrying about stuff like that.

I understand what you are saying, but my objective is to let her know what I think of her (with this one final gesture), not what she thinks of me.
