Why do they leave of us for something worse? lapse of reason: So I spoke with my ex's friend today. He tells me that the OW took him back (after knowing he came back to me too) and that is has been hellish. He told me it has been hellish since he began dating her five months ago.
In the span of five months, they have broken up 6 times, he has kicked her out of his truck in the middle of the road, she has demanded he pay for breast implants, she has burned some of his items, and she has blown up at him at work.
We never had any of that drama. In fact, he told me once that he missed our relationship because it was so smooth and effortless.
So what gives? Why did he choose that over us? Why do they choose crazy, unstable, and wrong over something that was good?
Re: Why do they leave of us for something worse? Whirlpool: I think it is because they blame us for the unhappiness that is inside them and look for someone that is different than us to correct it. Different in our case usually means bad I would think. I say that because most of the people on this board seem like great people. So obviously if we are all so great when they look for a change they can only go down the ladder;) Just my theory.

Whatever it is, she has something he wants. I can't imagine any relationship will succeed in the long term if there are fights over breast implants in the first few months.
You're going to come out of this nightmare a much better person than when you entered it. Looks like he's just going "down the ladder" to quote Whirlpool.
