HE WAS JUST HERE! MJ28: My husband just showed up (without calling- of course). He doesn't live nearby, so he wasn't just dropping by. Any ideas on why he does this? I very nicely asked him if he would call first to make sure I have no plans and I would rather he didn't drive all that way to see the baby for nothing and he accuses me of cheating. Let me just say that I'm not and never have. This is the same man who tells me that he's a good looking guy and I should expect women to pick him up when he goes out! Have any of the women here dealt with a similar situation? Men- any ideas why he acts this way? Freaking out a little here, would appreciate any feedback. Thanks.
Re: HE WAS JUST HERE! ohill: Without knowing more of the situation, and only having read your posts thus far, I would say that he is doing a little PI work of his own. I'm guessing that he got all worked up about something and decided to drive all the way to your place (in the hopes that he would find you with another man). Then when he got there and didn't find anything out of the ordinary, he probably figured that he drove all that way, so he might as well announce himself.
It sounds like he's obsessing. If he is accusing you of cheating and he has no reason to believe that you are (because you aren't), then he's likely just sitting there stewing about all the possibilities of what you could be doing with your life. Going out of his way to drop in like that is a bit off...
Re: HE WAS JUST HERE! dontgetit: I never cheated ONCE in the 20+ years that I was married, she on the otherhand has and did....Interesting that on more than one occassion she accused me of cheating - so here is where I am going with this.....If he is accusing you of cheating it probably means he is or has...MAKE ANY SENSE.
