My story melissa06: Hi,I am Melissa and I am a 26 year old divorced mom of 2.I have a wonder ful loving 4 year old son Jesse and a beautiful 2 year old daughter Angela.It all started after my ex husband Charles and celebrated our 2nd wedding anniversary in March.My ex husband was late at night and always smelled like women's perfume.I suspected my ex husband was cheating on me and arguements started to happen. My ex husband and I seperated in October because of that.My ex husband did confess cheating on me with five other women after seperation and I never trusted him after that.During the seperation,my parent had a talk with me and suggested I file for divorce.I did and served them to my ex husband.He did sign them since he knew the marriage was going to fail.My family and friends were there for support during the divorceThe divorce was nasty but I got what I wanted.It was last month and became final 2 weeks before Thanksgiving.I have full custody of my kids and my ex pays $400.00 for child support.My ex pays spousal support for me,$200.00 a month.I am now happy and I am not dating right now anyway.I just want to get my life back together first before I find someone new in my life.I have my children,family and friends that are important in my life and that is all that matters

sorry you had to find this place - but welcome. Lots of people with similar stories - some worse, some better but the common thread is the anger/hurt / frustration with the X.

Re: My story melissa06: Thanks,I am doing better now day by day.My parents even let my kids and myself in their house during the divorce.Like I mentioned,I want to get my life back together first until I start dating again.But my children,family and friends know that they are important in my life and I was really hurt when my ex confessed cheating on me.My friend Steven was helpful during the divorce,he was being a positive role model to my kids since they know him really good and still is.He does know that he is not the father of my kids and does spend time with them.
