Re: Tick-tock Tick-tock dontgetit: Interesting how people handle virtually the same situation differently - for me sleep is my escape.......I put my head on the pillow and I am gone...
Food that is a different story I have lost 40 lbs since October....
Re: Tick-tock Tick-tock Dio: I think the reason for the sleep may just be the stress. I am denying myself the luxury of being depressed (which causes excessive sleep) but I can't beat all the stress out of myself no matter how much I work out, and vent on this board. I am exhausted, yet still somehow manage to wake up 20 plus times a night.

*sigh*

Re: Tick-tock Tick-tock Dio: hmmm....

Maybe it was a mistake, but I left her a voicemail asking her to call me.

I know it's so soon, but with Christmas in two days and her gifts sitting here in front of me, I want to do something proactive so badly. I just hope it doesn't cost me in the end.

*Sigh*

Waiting again. Waiting Waiting Waiting.
Re: Tick-tock Tick-tock Trying2Hope: Dang, kid.  If she hasn't called it's one of three things:

1) Something went wrong and she hasn't received the gifts (not likely).

2) She received the gifts and hasn't had time to talk to you (more likely).

3) She received the gifts and doesn't want to talk to you (most likely).

Regardless, it's out of your control.  I'm sorry you're so stressed and hurt.  Try and get some rest and enjoy yourself.  The holiday season is tick tocking away while you worry.
Re: Tick-tock Tick-tock Dio: Not to shoot down your very valid response Bat, but I'll be spending Christmas singing carrols to my cats...

My family (mom dad brothers) is 1800 miles away and my wife, only 20 miles away, may as well be just as far...

I'm only in Texas because my wife wanted to be near her family. Too bad I didn't realize she would leave me and move in with them... now I'm the one that will probably end up packing up and moving 1800 miles because of this breakup... not her.

But I see your point. I am just trying to do SOMETHING. Nothing is so much harder right now.
