My Family!!!!!!! Trillian: Ok I just need to get this off my chest! I hate holiday's with my family! HATE EM!!!!!!!!! I love my family for the most part, but there are 6 kids in my family, and since we are all grown and have kids of our own, we now have close to 26 people in just my immediate family. So needless to say, holiday parties are fun.
Here is why I hate my family right now....
Last night we decided that since the oldes brother is up from California that we would get together at the youngest brothers house and do PIZZA. So we go and get 8 family size pizza's from Papa Murphy's. We are eating and talking and enjoying life, well apparently before I had gotten there my sister in law asked everyone that had a drink in her living room to make sure that they had a coaster, and that no kids were allowed to have drinks in that room....not a big deal right?
So half way through our little party, my sister-in-law freaks out and starts screaming at my oldest sister. Apparently my oldest sister, her husband, my just younger brother and his girlfriend were sitting on the coach and wiping the grease off their hands all over the BRAND NEW LEATHER COUCH!! And to make matters worse, they had 5 plastic cups, all with ice and soda sitting right on her BRAND NEW $300 coffee table. So she cries and explains that these are gifts from her grand parents for christmas, and they mean a lot to her. Well the oldest sister proceeds to chew her out for not telling anyone about this crap.. and on and on. I finally looked at my sister and said, "Stop being so rude!" Went upstairs to my sister in law and we talked for a while, I was able to get her to smile. She is going to help me spend my gift cards at bannana republic. My oldest sister is down stairs bitching and moaning about that, and from Thanksgiving when my mother-in-laws girlfriend chewed my family out for just eating and taking off and not even offering to help clean.
Had W not called right when he did, I would have gone face to face with the bitch. She (oldest sister) actually had the nerve to ask my oldest brothers family, who had just travelled 13 hours to visit for christmas to come over and paint her new house with them so that they can get in there faster. And then has the nerve to look me in the eye and tell me that I need to stop complaining about being tired and hurting. I looked back at her when she said that and said....HMMMM HELLO, WHO WAS IN A CAR ACCIDENT A WEEK AGO?!?! she actually had the nerve to say "Who has been painting a house for 4 days straight" Dumb ass at least you can choose to paint or not. I COULDN'T CHOOSE TO BE/OR NOT TO BE HIT BY A STUPID IDIOT THAT COULDN'T SEE A BUS!
Sunday should be fun, it is at my house...wooooo hoooo!! But at least we got the major annual "Lewis Family Holiday Fight" out of the way BEFORE christmas day! :P ::)

We have some stress similar to that...also from a big family. But mainly, we do the "talk behind each other's back" thing. Much more civilized but still very RUDE. Ughh, I dread that part.

Like one time we were eating sunday dinner, and decided to play texas hold 'em after dinner. Well it got down to oldest sister and mom. My mom showed me her cards and I told her to go all in. My oldest sister LOST and blamed it on me. WTF?!?!?!
