Lumpy -- I wouldn't pay much attention to what a woman puts down as her height preference in her profile, because nearly all women prefer tall men. Height is a factor, but luckily for us shorter guys, height isn't often the determining factor. Personality and other non-physical characteristics are usually more important -- unless the girl is shallow or insecure.
I actually wonder whether it is the height itself that attracts women or the qualities which are generally associated with height, like strength and confidence. As long as you actually have, and display, those important traits, height requirements will often be discarded.
Just respond to the girls you like, even if you don't fit what they've listed as their ideal. Let them decide whether they're interested -- don't make the decision for them. The worst that will happen is you'll get a negative response or no response at all.

It's Lumpy not shorty! I'm 6'2 pal...Irony's the one with the Napolean complex. That being said I agree with Frontier. If you have other things to offer these women the height requirement will go out the door. Scale that mountain big guy. The view from up there is worth it... ;)

As I'm sure you might have guessed, my post was supposed to be directed at you Irony, and I completly agree with Lumpy's agreement with me.
