Triggering
.

Triggering DLA: Been divorced since late April.

Everything I see reminds me of her.  Even the f*cking Christmas commercials of couples and gifts.

Drove back from Lansing the other day, so many things all at once I couldn't help sobbing on the way home.  Sketched what that looked like when I got in.

My kittens help, watching movies, anything I can do to avoid the triggers.  Don't know how others handle it, especially around the holidays.
Re: Triggering JNA: Time...

Time "heals" all

It takes time to get over and through...

I wish I had a better answer for you but I lived through it myself and yes just when you think you have it nipped in the bud here something comes along to knock you right back down...

However...know that in time it hurts less and less...

BTW...Reading helped me

Re: Triggering tearsrunoneway: yeah -

the holidays are no good. I thought Ive been pretty good for the past few months - but damnit if it al ldoesnt come back to day one when chirtmas rolls around...hang in there.
Re: Triggering Trying2Hope: I got rid of a lot of the triggers around the house.  I threw tons of stuff out, even making a ceremony out of it.  Kina like symbolically throwing out the marriage.  The stuff I couldn't change, I just deal with until I can change them (like the sofa, cn't afford a new one yet).

Go out and break your old dishes and buy some new ones.  It helps.
Re: Triggering JNA: Ditto...

I "boxed" personal belongings up left and right...

Was funny when she came too get her stuff...

AW you thought of me...

LOL
