Re: The no contact thread (part deux) C-Note: I had not attempted to contact her for 9 years since 17 days ago.
I have bumped into her 6 times though during thoughs 9 years. I kept the conversations short and positive.
17 Days ago I learned I may be the father of her 10 year old. She never bothered to tell me she was pregnant when she left to be with her Boss.
I have the childs photo. It's amazing how the other guy doesn't want a DNA test. But then I guess people can fool themselves and be blissfully ignorant.
17 days since I spoke to her. Even though I wanted to ask for a DNA test myself, my Ex's tone when I brought up how beautiful her oldest was told me I'd be shot down. My Ex just said the child is well taken care of. And that she was loved dearly.
So emotionally I was a wreck for the first 2 days after that phone call. Missed work both of thoughs days. I have the flu now. But that's a blessing. It forced me to focus on myself. My family and my kids and my wife. My Ex will forever be in my heart. But life goes on.
Re: The no contact thread (part deux) smokin: well. i havent seen, (other than in a car) the ex. i havent talked to her since march 5th, 2005 and had only talked to her 3 times since jan. i have went no contact, and there is ABSOLUTELY no reason, or need or want to talk to her. i made a no contact for life decision, and im sticking to it.
youll count the days. then weeks, then months, then you wont count. it gets way way easier...

I'm not giving up hope goose.
If she doesn't come back home I'll at least be able to say I gave it my best shot.
I've gone as long as two weeks since the last counseling session without seeing her or emailing or IM or anything...and she called and wants to exchange gifts next week when we are both back in town...
Go figure.
Only one 'gift' I want from her for christmas.
