Because I have just starting dating again and I have gone on 7 dates with this one girl and we have done some heavy petting but nothing below the belt. I am not used to this because normally they put out for me in the first or second date! I know she is not a virgin. Does this mean she likes me. I don't normally sleep with a girl and thats it! So... what in the heck could it be?

Sometimes a connection is strong enough that woman lets down her guard and sleeps with a man too soon. And then she might feel guilty after and wait for you to call because she doesn't know how you will think of her from now on. Could be she was really, really horny. Who knows?
The rule is not absolute, just something I find to be true for myself in most cases. If I'm attracted to a guy, I usually can't wait to hop on it. But I really try and make myself wait if I see relationship potential.

Lesson learned. But hey, I wasn't that experienced to begin with (only with the ex) so I have no regrets. We've agreed to be friends and get to know each other (haha! We'll see if he calls, likely won't).

I sort of agree with this, but I sort of don't. To me it was more how the men in my past have reacted. If I slept with them too soon, they usually fizzled away. If I didn't sleep with them right away, then we usually ended up staying together for a longer period of time. So based on that history, I guess you could say that if I only want sex, then I'd sleep with someone sooner.....but if I wanted a relationship, then I'd wait.
