For those who care, and I don't, YJ's [color=orange"> FLORIDA GATORS[/color"> won its Outback Bowl game over Big Ten also ran Iowa 31-24.
The SEC Champion [color=red"> GEORGIA BULLDOGS[/color"> lost their Sugar Bowl game to Big East Champion 38-35, after we just couldn't rally from the 28 point lead we spotted them with.

See, the reason I didn't make fun of you is because I figured your boys had gotten too drunk the night before and had decided to put the cheerleaders on instead. Are you sure that isn't what happened?
It just looked so easy for West Virginia that I figured there was no way the "players" on the other side of the ball could actually be a true division I team. I've put the word "players" in quotes there because it's certainly a questionable use of the word... usually such a designation conveys the idea that you actually came to play.
Oh well, good thing for you that West Virginia couldn't stop laughing after going up 28-0 so easily and you were able to take advantage of that. At least that helped you all make it look like you were in the game.
For those that don't know, this was actually a very special game. Never before in the history of bowls has the victor's trophy been awarded to a team after the first quarter!!! :)
Tarheel, you know I hate Georgia and love to see them lose. But despite that, I'm going to be the bigger man here and help your team out. Please call the coach and let him know that when the other team has the ball, the rules allow his team to put players on the field to attempt to stop them from scoring. He may field as many as 11 players for this purpose. I know he'll want to consult the rule book on this but I swear it is actually true.

I must say that the looks on the faces of your fans was priceless! And they kept showing them over and over and over and over.... I would swear the guy choosing which camera to switch to in that game was a Gator... God bless him!

Hey, I get paid at tax time EVERY YEAR. Not a LOT, but enough to make it worth a daydream here and there. And I will get my money's worth in the Cocktail Party next year.
I'll throw down the gauntlet RIGHT NOW! If Georgia does not beat Florida next year, I will put some sort of UF logo as my avatar for the final two months of 2006.
Now.... time to settle in for basketball season. Few things do my heart better than seeing Billy Donovan and his greased back hair get eliminated from the NCAA Tournament in March.
