Still young? Zipsfb: Yeah, so it's been 7 months for me... and I'm 22 (23 in April). I feel SOOO old, and all of my friends are newly weds or engaged. I feel like I'm missing the boat, and that when I finish school (in 4 months) the odds of meeting someone are slim.
I have no clue how to meet people outside of class or through networking... I think I'm screwed. Thoughts? Anyone else feel really old even though they are relatively young?
Re: Still young? 4sarah: I think people find someone when they least expect it! I hear online dating is huge maybe that would work. I hope something works because I'm 27 and will finish nursing school in 4 months and would love to meet someone. I don't feel old but I do feel left out of the whole couple thing (all my friends are married etc..)

Seeing your friends get married is hard when you just finished something with someone you thought you'd be married to. 22 isn't old I guess, but it sure does feel like it. I have a phobia of being alone forever, but also a phobia of getting hurt again. They don't compliment each other at all...
I have to be a groomsman twice in the next year (so far) and that will be hard for me, if I'm still like this when these weddings start.
Okay, I'm done rambling. I don't mind not being with my X so much as I feel like I'm destined to be lonely the rest of my short life.
