My point precisely, Medusa. I just had to wonder what exactly these guys think/believe/hope will come of their base behavior.

I know a guy who has a theory he calls "one in ten". His theory being that one in ten women will go out with you, you just have to ask them all. I sort of think that's the operating platform for most of our male, feathered friends.
But someday someone's gonna say something really funny to me and then you better believe my knickers or otherwise will be in more than a twist. ;)

I'm the lucky girl who always gets hit on by the crazy dude on the dance floor. You know the one ladies, sweat dripping off the tip of his nose cause he's working it. Usually wearing a t-shirt, sweatpants, and galoshes. Their pickup line is always something along the lines of "I like the way you move!"
Yeah its irritating. Yes, we want to be charmed by something original and fantastic. But come on, at least it was said. Some girls never hear "nice ass" why? because they probably don't have one. Be happy you got back baby and work it.
The pick up line that always makes me laugh:
Can I get your phone number? I need to let my friend know where to reach me in the morning.

I know it's a compliment and I'd rather have it than not if I had to make the choice. I just think it's hilarious (or whatever) that guys go about it the way that they do. I don't know of any women that have ever turned around and actually said, yeah baby--you want some of this? Unless, of course, they charge by the hour.
As far as Mr Saturday Night Fever guy, you know him too? I love that guy.
