Date tonight! CasablancaPhil: Okay so I have my first official date tonight. I'm kinda proud of myself. I went up to this girl I found attractive and just started talking and a week later we're going out. Big accomplishment for me. I've went up to girls before and talked and it worked well but this is the first date I've agreed to go on. Anyway, the things that don't bother me, but are things I probably should consider;
1.) She's 32, I'm 24. No big deal to me, just never been with anyone older.
2.) 12 year old son. Although Dad gets him on weekends which kinda gives the impression she's looking for a guy and not a daddy.
3.) She's from South America. Different dating cultures?? Things I should watch out for? I don't know.
4.) IT"S MY FIRST DATE SINCE... People who know my story know I married my childhood sweetheart and never dated, you heard me right NEVER.
5.) When we met we talked for two hours and she kissed me right there at the bar. Don't know how that's going to play into this. Is it going to be wierd when we first see each other? I'm thinking I'll play it safe a give her a hug. We'll see.
So those are my thoughts. Anybody have any advice?
