My head is in the right place for now and I hope to keep it there. As stated in my first post of this thread, I don't want her.
My heart on the other hands has more difficulty dealling with uncertainty.
dgiirl, you are right. I know answers from my Ex would only raise more questions. I feel that some answers, if right, could free me once and for all or, if wrong, could make things worse. My heart is having a hard time settling with not knowing.
Thanks guys

Re: (Closure = Answers) True or False? btodd: I don't know that anyone ever obtains complete "closure" or maybe closure is when you stop caring. Not about everything but just about your ex and their present and past life with you. It could even possibly be when you realize that no matter how they answer a question it will never be good enough. Therefore you come to a point when you say O.K. this is self torture and I want and need to live the rest of my life. Life does go on and you can't change the past.
Re: (Closure = Answers) True or False? sudboy: Good question.
For me closure is accepting that I get to continue my life without knowing all the answers. Why did she lie? Why did she cheat? Why did she destroy this little family? I dunno.
The only thing I do know is that my life is a lot different now.
In terms of closure, really, does it matter? Would knowing every detail of what went down really be a good thing for me? Nope. I've learned to be careful of asking for specifics because in terms of unraveling relationships specifics can do more harm than good.
But hey, tomorrow is a new day. Make the most of it.
