Re: have you ever gone to a bar alone? BambiC: Why not try a bar in a restaurant like at a Fridays. It'd be a lot less intimidating than going to a regular bar. One the lighting is better and two the restaurant atmosphere is less intimidating. Just a thought.

Re: have you ever gone to a bar alone? AloneandCold: I've done that once, even though I don't really drink. Instead of sitting at the bar though I played a game of pool by myself. Made up a game with colors and numbers, anyway beside the point. :) It really wasnt bad at all. I wandered around downtown then played some pool. A couple guys were playing pool on the table over. Now had I more self confidence I would have flirted ;) But it was a start. Anyway its not always percieved as trying to get laid. You could just need something to do like they do.
