Sears SUCKS starzluv: Don't ever order a gas dryer from sears and think that they will 1. bring you the exhaust duct with the dryer, or 2. hook the stupid thing up. they deside to deliever on a Sat. and then tell you to call the gas company to come hook it up, yeah like you can get them to come out on a Sat. he!!, you'd have to wait at least a week (if you're lucky) for the gas company to show up and then they'd charge you at least $50 to do it. Thankfully my in laws came over and my MIL told my FIL to see what h e needed and run to LOWES,get what he needed and come back and hook it up. i finally get to get my laundry caught up

Re: Sears SUCKS alonewith2: I just had to buy a dryer back in November. I went to Sears, but my experience was a lot better than yours. I picked the one model that they actually had in stock! The salesman told me that if they delivered it, that it wouldn't come with the exhaust parts, and that they would not hook it up. Luckily I had gone there with my friend from work in her truck so I brought it home that same day.....and my brother came over and hooked it up for me. Maybe it's just the Sears in your area? Of course, us country backhills people are known for our friendliness and helpfullness!
Sorry your experience sucked. If my gas dryer buying episode turned out like yours did, I'd be pissed, too!
Re: Sears SUCKS flyaway: Yeah, ummm, just bought a lawn tractor from them, but it's not cause the sales man was helpful....it's cause they had the best price....I thought my dad was going to tell him where to go, for a second there. lol.....but lucky for me, I used my skills as daddy's little girl ::) to talk him down off that ledge, considering my daughters were there and watching with wide eyes.
