Oh my little princess, why must you always leave? hudson: Jeez. I'm tired of meeting the same kind of women over and over. Why do I have to be attracted to these women? Why do I have to be a hopeless romantic?
There's never any potential for a relationship or anything real...cause these women aren't capable of real relationships. They could never return even a fraction of the love that I give them because they aren't capable of that kind of love.
Yet...they have that allure. They have beauty accompanied by a certain helplessness. They've come to a crossroads in life at which they can either veer off into a life of their own full of their own choices or continue down the dull track laid out for them by their superiors. A track that looks like... masters, career, and a boring future in the lame world of yuppiedom.
Why do I always have to be a stop-off on their way to yuppiedom? Why do I even entertain the idea that these young, brainwashed girls will deviate from their predestined lives and choose one of adventure, risk, and...even love and romance?
I just can't help it. I meet these women, women like my ex wife and I'm just drawn to them. And before I know it, I'm taking care of them. Only to watch them run back to the comfortable surroundings they came from.
I'm like a halfway house for young, rich girls entertaining the idea of doing something different than being young and rich. Whateva.
But I know, one of these days, one of em' is gonna stay with me foreva. Maybe this little blonde, south african princess i've been hangin' with will decide that i'm worth changing her expectations for. I guess I can hope eh?
Re: Oh my little princess, why must you always leave? shockedandamazed: Blazin try this...ask someone out that you would not normally ask out...just to try something new.
I am currently reading the Year of Yes, where this girl is so sick of dating all of the same men and she decides to say yes to at least one date with all who ask.
It might open your mind and you might learn something new about yourself in the process.
Re: Oh my little princess, why must you always leave? yella: Blazin, Baby...
Am I seeing this right? Are you saying that you're ready for a relationship? Could it be?
Ok, all kidding aside, I think you might be looking in the wrong place. Are these women that you meet at work? Because if they are, they're going to be superficial.
You are a very smart guy with some pretty down to earth views. Why not try a change of scenery and date someone who can give you a run for your money, so to speak, and challenge who you are inside.
As suggested, go outside your own comfort zone.
Remember back in the day when I called you insane? You know the act of doing the same thing over and over, but expecting a different result?
Why not try something new, and meeting women who aren't like your ex at all?
Just a thought...
Aren't you glad that I'm back? ;)

I like this. And I'll definetly try to keep an open mind when it comes to who I make room for in my life.
Hi smiley. You know, I've met women who challenge who I am on the inside but usually they don't ignite a romantic spark in me. For some reason I'm only attracted to young, dumb girls.
But I will make a conscious effort to give the smarter ones more of a chance. ;)
Re: Oh my little princess, why must you always leave? whythisnow: You sound like the long haired muscular friend I had in my twenties. He kept meeting these beautiful women and banging them. After a few weeks they left and went back to their country clubs and upper middle class lives and never looked back.
Most of these women ended up marrying rich lawyers, bankers, and business men. He even would meet up with them and they would cheat on their husbands.
He asked me the same thing you posted. Why does this happen to me? When will one of them stay? I told him to be honest with himself. Deep down inside he did not want to meet women that would stay. He liked playing the wounded puppy until the next conquest.
If your not catching the fish you want either change the bait or go to another pond.
Ask yourself why you are attracted to women that will most likely leave you?
