That's my new motto and I have done so many new things in the past month - it is amazing!
Re: Oh my little princess, why must you always leave? flowersdirtandgardengirl: Blazin,
I've got two things to say to you. Actually, three.
One. I'm sorry that your little pineapple princess left you. Really. However, on a totally selfish note, I'm glad that you're back. We missed your antics around here, incorrigble as you may be. ;)
Two. I know this girl named Whiskey. I don't know if you've met her. I'm willing to bet the farm that she's no yuppie, her dogs could eat you with one wrong look and she can parallel park a tractor. If that's not adventure, dude, I don't know what is. I'd introduce you, but right now she's in Mexico, drinking pina coladas and chasing off strange men named Jorge. Hopefully if she's still single when she returns, she might even have you.
Three. If, however, there is a guy named Jorge who's won her wild heart, I know this girl named gg....

They've come to a crossroads in life at which they can either veer off into a life of their own full of their own choices or continue down the dull track laid out for them by their superiors. A track that looks like... masters, career, and a boring future in the lame world of yuppiedom.

So let me get this straight: you choose women who are in a certain rut, and you expect them to hoist themselves out of this rut for you? Or to be more precise, you expect yourself to be an instrument of such profound change in their lives?
I dunno. Sounds like you ask a lot of yourself. People love their comfort zones. Maybe you could pursue women who are ALREADY free thinkers, and are used to following their own muse. Only problem is, those women likely don't hang out where you hang out, and those women aren't likely to be impressed by the things that impress the women you've been dating. You'll probably have to find new ways to define yourself, so you can relate to these less "tame" women.
So I agree with the others who suggest that you need to leave your own comfort zone to find what you're looking for. You can always go back to it if you don't like it out there in the harsh, cruel world. Who knows - maybe once you leave your comfort zone behind, you'll appreciate it and the women who populate it a little more.
P.S. GG, be careful what you wish for. Blazin' has a life size picture of George W. over his bed, so you'd always be playing second fiddle.... ;D
Re: Oh my little princess, why must you always leave? flowersdirtandgardengirl: :o
Dude....Blazin...now that's just gross....
Re: Oh my little princess, why must you always leave? C-Note: JimB, Umm how do you know about that pic above the bed? Just curious.
