There are always going to be people coming into your life who leave, and then you're sitting wondering what the hell happened?
I had these same questions once, and I know it's not easy to get them answered. Sometimes you have to force yourself to accept the fact that the person is gone, you can't get him back, so you have to just pick up, dust off, and force your heart into moving ahead.
It's either that, or you drive yourself into a break down. Been there, done that, it sucked.
You just have to toughen up a little, and take your heart by the reigns and make it listen to you. Mind over matter, unfortunately.
How does one person change your life so much? Because you let him. You have a heart, and you took a risk. It didn't pay off this time, so what do you do? You build up walls until you find someone who IS worthy of your heart and try again.
Take the lessons that you've learn and apply them. Now is the time to find anything you can to feel productive and step back into the world again.
